World Landscape Architecture has opened registrations for the 2026 WLA Awards. This annual international awards program honours the finest work by landscape architects across the world in recognising innovation, sustainability and transformative spaces. Whether you are a solo practitioner, a global firm, or a student pushing the boundaries of the field, we invite you to share your work with our international jury and the world.
In our tenth year, we invite entries from professional landscape architects, urban designers, landscape architecture firms, and other organisations to submit their built and conceptual projects across sixteen categories. The categories cover a diverse range of landscapes, from urban parks and public spaces to residential gardens and ecological restoration projects, to institutions and tourist destinations. Current students or recent graduates can also participate with their conceptual or graduate projects, and universities are encouraged to submit their studio projects in the university studio category.
Registrations officially open on January 13, 2026, and submissions close on April 24, 2026. WLA Members can receive a 5-20% discount, but you do not need to be a member to enter.
Over the coming weeks, we will announce the international professional and student juries and provide tips for entering this year’s awards.
